-The first bicycle in the world wich uses the pedals to move the wheels was made by the Scotissh Kirkpatrick Macmillan, wich added this new invention to an older model of a bike. To prove his discobering, he made a travel of 65 Km to Glasgow.

-The famous inventor James Watt, born in Scotland, won his fame by the invention of the first steam machine, wich heats water and moves a turbine by the hot vapored water. The great importance of this invention was that it started and promoved the First industrial Revolution, occured in the XVIII century in Great Britain.

-A lot of people thinks that the famous inventor Alexander Graham Bell it´s from England, but it was born in Edimburg, Scotland.
Although there are some dudes about the invention of the telephone, the most accepted theory is that the inventor was Alexander.

-The English mathematician Sir Charles Babbage was born in 1791, and in his years of life, he designed a model of a rudimentary computer, wich could solve som basic operations by using perforated metal papers. In all his life he never saw a real computer, but in the 1940 there where created the first compuers following his studies.

-The most famous sport in the world, the football, was invented in England. There is no a person who invented it, but the first tournaments of football were celebrated in the United Kingdom in the 18 century, and this could be the biggest invention in the Anglo-Saxon culture.

-Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the famous English computer scientist, born in London, presented an idea for the CERN ( European Organization for the Nuclear Investigation) to link the computers of these corporacion. Easely he underestood the big dimension his idea could reach, and in 1990, the first computer entered in the actual Wolrd Wide Web.

-The first Puzzle in the history was created by the English experts in maps Jhon Spilsbury, who created it accidently. He invented it by cutting a map, and when he was reconstructing it, he created the puzzles. This new invention was used to teach geography and as a hobby.

-The English physicist Lord Kelvin is famous by his works with the heat, and the invention af ythe Kelvin scale too measure temperature, wich situates the 0 degrees kelvin as the lowest temperature and object can have, in wich its particles are totally stop. This scale is so famous because is the only one wich make possible the phisic formulas.
